Grand Horizons EP extrusion with standard main frame

Foam Insulation

Foam filled frames are a standard feature of Grand Horizons EP, providing state-of-the-art thermal performance.
This polyurethane foam fills interior vinyl cavities to reduce heating and cooling costs.

Standard Features:
1. Solid vinyl lineals feature clear, consistent color.
2. Multi-chambered frame profiles; EP offers foam-filled frame for increased durability and energy efficiency.
3. Deep receiver head pocket reduces chances of air/water infiltration and sash bowing.
4.
Fusion-welded frames and sashes provide superior strength.
5. High-performance glass packages. Combine low emissity glass and inert gases for maximum window and glass performance.
6. Vent limits provide positive stops for ventilation.
7. High-performance, constant-force sash balances make operation dependable and performance durable.
Deluxe cam action lock secures rails tightly together. Anti-tamper lock exceeds load requirements for AAMA 1302.5 Forced-Entry Resistance Test.
Standard wet glazing creates an attractive, airtight, watertight compression seal.
Double seal interlock meeting rail insulator tightens seal and eliminates air and water infiltration.
Tilt-in sashes make glass easy to clean.
High-impact nylon sash retainers lock sashes securely into jambs.
Full integral lift rail on top and bottom sashes makes windows easy to open and close.
Deluxe weather-stripping on sashes and frames provides superior resistance to air, water, dust and noise. (Tested to AAMA 701.92 certification.)
Revolutionary sloped sill provides improved drainage and attractive appearance.
5/8" dam wall decreases chance of water back-up on sill.
Deluxe half-screen has heavy extruded aluminum frame and fiberglass screen mesh with position memory.
